The Singapore Medical Society of Victoria

The Singapore Medical Society of Victoria is a student-founded organisation, which aims to bridge the gap between medical students in Victoria and the healthcare industry in Singapore. By working closely with universities in Victoria as well as Singapore Healthcare, National Healthcare Group and Ministry of Health Holdings Singapore, we organise various programs and activities that will benefit future healthcare professionals pursuing their medical degrees in Victoria.

Currently, our membership consist of medical undergraduate students of various nationalities from Monash University and the University of Melbourne. We aim to expand our membership to include allied health students from Victorian universities, graduate medical students as well as practicing doctors from both Singapore and Victoria.

Our first committee was founded on 3rd May 2008. Since then, our committee has been ran by numerous dedicated students from Monash and Melbourne University of all year levels.
